He’ll Never Be Able to Multitask But…
Between the hours of three and four in the morning is often my best time for thinking. I have usually hauled myself out of bed to nurse the baby and, find upon returning to bed, that my mind is often busy and thoughtful. Sometimes I curse this time (I would really rather be peacefully sleeping) but, other times I am grateful for this sleeplessness as it generally brings about clear and profound thoughts that fuel a blog post or an important conversation. This upcoming week marks my fifth wedding anniversary; consequently, my night thoughts this week have been marriage focused. read more…

I have been writing it over and over again in my head trying desperately to avoid sounding either judgmental or preachy. The last thing I want to do is annoy people thereby, alienating them from the possibility of read more…
WTF World?
Dear World, I just need to get a few things off my chest so, I thought I would write this short little letter as I find a little venting can go a long way. World, why is it that when I stand in line with my 2 year old and my baby in his stroller, people fail to notice me and butt in front of me in line? World, I am pretty sure that we are hard to miss; the stroller is rather large, the 2 year old generally flaps his arms around a great deal and jibber-jabbers pretty loudly. read more…
