The Want Want Want

This is not my motto but...

There are many things I want, things I covet. I know it’s wrong. I should be more grateful and content with what I have, but I can’t help myself, I just want more. Rest… WTF is rest?

It’s funny how, as a mother, I get used to being really tired all the time. Most of the time, I just ignore it and push on, but sometimes, being as I am 21 weeks pregnant, I will permit myself to have a little lay down if my Hubby is available to step in. Do You Have a Penis or Not Baby?

This gendering issue is turning into a huge gong show here in my home town of Victoria BC. First some news outlets reported about 12 weeks ago that Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) was going to charge $50 for parents to find out the gender of their unborn child. VIHA quickly responded and said that a review of their policy was happening but that a fee was not being introduced at this time. Strollers Vs. Wheelchairs

BC Transit Double Decker Bus

At work today I happened to catch a headline on the front page of a small local paper the Saanich News. It read: Strolls Cramping Wheelchairs & Strollers Push Wheelchair to Curb I dropped everything I was doing and took a minute to read the short article. It wasn’t much, just 10 or so paragraphs but the potential implications of the article go way beyond those 10 poorly written (in my humble opinion) paragraphs.
