Second Hand Christmas??

Is it possible to have a Second Hand Xmas?

Christmas. Dun dun dun, it’s coming. I know you likely don’t want to think about it, in fact you may be in denial about it’s inevitable arrival but I am telling you… IT IS COMING AND YOU CAN’T STOP IT! Last year, Christmas snuck up on me and seriously bit me in the ass. I ended up doing way too much last minute shopping which meant I spent way too much money. It was honestly the first time in my life where Christmas shopping felt like a huge chore that was all about commercialism and sensationalism; I found myself feeling read more…

The Cloth Diaper Diaries Entry #1

My first cloth diapers: fitted Snug-to-Fit basic cotton diapers

World Breastfeeding Week

In Honour of World Breastfeeding Week Today I took a walk with my family through Cathedral Grove, an old growth forest on Vancouver Island with enormous trees, some that are over 800 years old. It is one of the most gorgeous and majestic places I have ever had the privilege to visit. A beautiful, natural place to do one of the most beautiful, natural things: breastfeed my baby Angus.
